Each of the 10 mugs features designs from a different decade, telling the story of Finland throughout the years. In the beginning of the 20th century, Arabia's tableware was decorated with a wide range of simple ornaments and graceful designs influenced by Finnish national romanticism. The patterns were given masculine names, such as Adolf, Arne, Henrik, Into, Isak, Jalo, Jonas, Kullervo, Oiva and Toivo. The patterns were hand engraved on copper printing plates, and Isak was one such pattern.

The Isak mug, representing the year 1914, features a dainty, copper-colored flora design around the top, a popular decoration of the time period. This mug comes in a decorative box for safe-keeping, complete with the same flora design.
