Alessi Pomegranate Citrus Juicer

I have tried every kind of juicer they make and this one works the very best! The pouring feature is fantastic! The juicing takes very little effort and clean up is super easy.

This citrus juicer is an exceptional design because of the efficiency of the serrated cone, the handle that doubles as a pouring spout, and the size of the juice receptacle. The cone on this juicer has ribs that are sharp enough to properly extract juice. I'd been using a porcelain juicer, and the ribs on the cone were too rounded, which made for inefficient juicing. Not only is juice extracting easy in the Alessi juicer, but the receptacle holds almost two cups. I can squeeze several oranges at once and make my morning orange juice drink without having to empty the container mid-way through. Finally, the handle doubling as a pouring spout is both clever and efficient. I'm only giving this item four stars because it is made of a thermoplastic resin. This material can't be put in the dishwasher and can become brittle with age. However, if treated properly, this juicer should last for quite a few years.
