Iittala has taken the classic clear Aalto vase and added just a hint of green color to it. The result is a beautiful water green color wave that is new in 2010. This unique color gives the vase a vintage look of antique glass.

I love Water Green one the best among my Aalto vases. White flowers in it look more elegant white than in a clear vase. It goes well with yellow flowers (like daffodils) or purple flowers as well. I think medium size (4-3/4) is handy and economic size to decorate with flowers. But I still think large size (6-1/4") is good for branches or long stem flowers.

Great Vase I Bought To Replace One That Disappeared. Only Drawback Was Small Size. I Thought The Size Listed Was Height, Not Rough Diameter.

This vase is even more beautiful in person than I imagined - when you look at it from the side, it looks nearly colorless, but the color comes out beautifully on the edges at the top. A wonderful addition to my Iittala collection and I will definitely be buying more items in this color in the future.
