I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Since its introduction in 1937 at the Parisian World Fair in Paris, the Aalto vase has been a celebrated icon of design. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, each piece echoes the untamed shorelines of Finland's thousands of lakes. The fluid lines are emblematic of the deep connection between man and nature and utterly striking to behold.
I have it on display in the front room on my coffee table.

The gift receivers were out town at the time of the arrival of the shipment. After they came back they were in owe of the beuaty of this classic and aasured us they will place it prominently in their home. It came in perfect condition and we are impressed with the promptness and care your buisness delivers as always. It is an apt gift to a dear neighbor.

The Christmas Vase for All Seasons

I bought this vase specifically for the Christmas season because of the deep red color. Not only did this vase look wonderful with simple greens but also floral arrangements as well. I think I will use this vase throughout the year as the deep red color is a wonderful "base" for flower arrangements.

Pros

The red is a great means to disguise the stems of flowers in the water...one can't see them but can in to the lighter colors.

Cons

This color might not be appropriate for summer flower arrangements.
