The 2010–11 Finnish Design Yearbook is published by Design Forum Finland. As stated by Design Forum Finland, "The publication contains a broad overview of both products, concepts, designers and manufacturers involved in contemporary Finnish design. In addition to presenting hundreds of products, it also discusses topical issues in design with articles by experts and interviews with leading actors in the field.Among other issues, Finnish Design Yearbook 2010–11 will explore design as a tool of business success, a means for creating a better life and a better society, an aid for the commodification of innovations, and as an aspect of self-expression. The yearbook also reflects coming events such as Expo 2010 in Shanghai and Helsinki's role as World Design Capital in 2012.
This book is printed in English and is an up-to-date reference work on design. Running to over a hundred pages, the yearbook will appear in an edition of 6,000."
