I have loved the Moomin books since I first became aware of them. They are a delight for children and adults.

I used to own all of these, but many have moved in with friends and family. Actually I don't think it's quite the complete set -- didn't Tove Janssen write a novel before Comet -- but it's a good start

I read these as a child and was asked to bring a favorite book to a baby shower of our good friends, so this was a perfect, well-priced set. I plan on sending a book on the baby's birthday every year until she turns 8. I love the drawings in these, and the stories themselves. Of course I plan on re-reading them first!
