Long loved by Finns and Swedes, the Moomin series is finally making its way out of Scandinavia. Now you can escape into the Moomin world with the second installment of Tove Jansson's comic strip compilation. The second book hosts a collection of fun adventures from "Moomin's Winter Follies" to "Moomin Builds a House." Join Moomintroll on his little escapades and you can be sure to have an uproariously good time. Welcome to the enthralling, imaginary world of Moomin Valley, where one is sure to quickly fall in love with its sweet dreamers, irascible schemers, and creative dilettantes as they search for love, fame, and fortune. Weather it is Moomin's inadvertent stint as a modern artist, the femme fatale Snorkmaiden as she tries to fit into an itsy-bitsy bikini, or the opportunistic Sniff hawking the elixir of life, Tove Jansson's enchantingly meandering narratives will delight both the devoted and the unacquainted.
