iittala Collective Tools Serving Spoon - Large

Good size for getting all the stew meat in one spoon when serving. Quite comfortable shape to use and doesn't seems to plop straight into the bow because the handle is wide

I have bought a few of the Iittala small a medium serving spoons and like them so much that I’ve also bought some for gifts. And I finally bought the large, wondering if I will really use it. IT IS BIG! I’ve had it about a week and already used it three times. All these spoons are beautifully designed and have a nice balanced heft that I love.

I've been building my Iittala Teema collection of table ware and serving dishes and absolutely love the entire line.
I ordered each size of these serving spoons and as much as I wanted to like them, I found that they are a bit awkward to use. The spoon end of each piece is too wide and oddly shaped resulting in inefficient use of the tool. The handle end is too bulbous and also feels awkward. The proportions just feel off on all of them.
This Large size is enormous in both length and spoon size.

Beautiful aesthetic. Balanced. Superb utility. Excellent for stew, soup, and casseroles.

WOW. This is a very good serving utensil! Balanced weight, extra long handle, is a workhorse around the kitchen and on the table. The iittala Collective Tools Serving Spoon Large is a great tool to use when serving soup or beans or potatoes from a large deep pot. It's there for you. Cleans quickly and looks great year after year.
