Visapaja Wine Bottle Plate

An elegant piece to prevent wine bottle rings.

This is a strange little plate. Square, and the bottle of wine sits nicely over the circle. But it's just a piece of cut wood - nicely burnished, etc. I bought it as a little thank-you gift for a friend but didn't give it to her; it just doesn't have a great "presence" on the table and takes up space. But it fulfills it's purpose!

When I bought this, I thought there would be a deep groove where the glass sits. Actually, there is more of a "tread" than a groove, which works well for different sized bottles, so I am pleased with my purchase.
