Not what I expected

I know this is my. mistake but I assumed that there would be two oven mitts not just one. I don't see the point of one oven mitt. The price also lead me to believe that it would be more than just one mitt.
The other problem was the way it was packaged. I did not know what the package contained. I cut open the top (very close to the top) of the thin plastic bag and found that I had cut into the oven mitt. This was supposed to be a gift. I cannot give it now as it is damaged. I feel this product should be in a thicker bubble wrapped package with space to cut open the bag without damaging the oven mitt.
Otherwise, it is a pretty mitt.
