In wood and black colored details, the Moomins are pictured at the pier of Moominvalley. The Pier tray illustration is originally from Tove Jansson's book "Moominpappa at Sea" (1965), and an additional illustration from the same book is featured on the backside of the tray. The handy size of this mini Muurla tray allows it to be used as a plate for treats or as a saucer for tea and coffee. Handmade in Finland, the quality birch wood makes this Muurla The Pier tray lightweight yet durable for both light and heavy items, and the coated surface is food and dishwasher safe.
