About Percale: A high-quality weave, percale has a noticeably tighter weave that allows for a higher thread count which makes the sheets softer to the touch. Medium in weight, the fabric is matte with no additional sheen or shine but the texture is very smooth and able to resist warping and washes exceptionally well.

However, one customer found the fabric too thin and see-through, comparing it to bed sheets, with excessive wrinkling. Button closure preferred over zippers.
I love this design and was so excited to get it for my redecorated bedroom, but I'm nothing short of disappointed with the fabric used. I've never purchased a duvet cover that was so thin and see through. Unless you have a white comforter to insert, you will see any color or patterns showing directly through the fabric. This duvet cover is essentially nothing more than 2 flat bed sheets sewn together. It has the exact same feel, texture and wrinkling issue that a sheet has - nothing different. I ironed it before using, but as soon as you sit on it, lay on it or simply sleep under it, it's again wrinkled anywhere that it's been touched - just like a sheet. I'll use it for now, but constantly trying to smooth out wrinkles is going to grow old quickly. For the price of this duvet cover, I expected a more substantial and usable fabric weight and quality.
I have the comforter and bought a duvet cover for when it needs replacing because I love it so much- and it's been difficult to find in blue. I also bought some fabric to have a duvet cover made which was going to cost over $250 so the price is right. I also like that it closes with button holes rather than a zipper. Looks to be good quality.
