About Percale: A high-quality weave, percale has a noticeably tighter weave that allows for a higher thread count which makes the fabric softer to the touch. Medium in weight, the fabric is matte with no additional sheen or shine but the texture is very smooth and able to resist warping and washes exceptionally well.

I recently purchased this duvet cover for a queen size bed on in a guest bedroom. The colors are just right and not overpowering. It brought much needed color to a rather drab room. Fabric is medium weight but tends to wrinkle easily.

This set is lovely and predictably high quality from Marimekko. The pattern is true in colors to the photos and really lights up the room. It also has so many colors in it that you can pick out one and accessorize very easily. It does not "lock" you in to a color family when seasons change or you get bored with a look. I bought my new Marimekko Rosarium duvet cover set to brighten up a room on a gray winter day. Success! This is the second Marimekko duvet cover set that I have purchased from FinnStyle and it is just as exquisite as the first (Pioni) in every way. Have dealt with other on-line companies who specialize in bedding and bath supplies. I really wanted a Marimekko duvet cover so I looked at Finnstyle company. I am a Gardner so this design really caught my eye when we were looking for a new duvet cover and shams. Unfortunately it was too busy a pattern to work with our oriental rugs. If you have a bland base...this would look great to liven up a bedroom. Our walls are painted the medium blue in the design and looked fabulous from the bed up. Bed down, was not good ...so we had to return for another option. ☹️
