Make sure you pay attention to the measurement on this! I had not nd expected a larger hand towel. The design is absolutely beautiful. I love the hem.
Because of the black/white color way, it has a fairly obvious reverse pattern (black spheres on white on one side, white spheres on black on the reverse). It works for me. I have several of these Marimekko guest towels in other patterns, and the hanging loop placement midway on the long edge works well with my towel hook layout. The resulting drape is plump and space-saving; it is not so long as to resemble a dishtowel, which happens when a hanging loop is placed on the short edge or on a corner. The fabric is plush and absorbent.

I've switched over to these Marimekko guest towels because they are very absorbent and they dry fast. I also love the designs. They wash well and look like new even after laundering.
