Maija Isola's popular poppies are traced in black and grey atop the Marimekko Small Neat Crossbody Shoulder Bag. "Piirto" Unikko is an outlined and minimalistic variation of the beloved floral print from 1964. Neutral enough for any ensemble when on-the-go, the bag is made sleek and lightweight polyester with an adjustable shoulder strap. The Neat Crossbody has a zipper closure for safe keeping of your essentials, while the front features a smaller zipper pocket and the Marimekko label. There is a slip-in pocket on the inside where the whole bag can be folded away for easy storage in a purse, glovebox and more.

I've been using this bag a lot. It is lightweight unstructured fabric, and this grey/black pattern is versatile for me. The dimensions seem limiting, but it fits my phone, wallet, small toiletries bag, keys, sunglasses, and more. The front zipper pocket saves it from being a simple floppy bag. I appreciate the top zipper and adjustable strap. Note that the strap is attached to the backside, with unattached space in between the side attachment points to form a hand/arm carry handle. Brilliant!
I bought this for a gift. I think they will like it as much as I like mine (mine is blue). It holds so much for the size! It’s my go-to purse/bag these days. Love it and all things Marimekko!
