Designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi first created Piccolo in 1953, a timeless print seen on one of Marimekko's most famous fashion pieces, the Joikapoka shirt. The button-down shirt inspired the blue and pink patch pocket seen on this Marimekko tote bag. Contrasting against the tote's alternating bright orange and yellow backdrop, the bag is equally stylish and functional with its lightweight material and simple construction.
