Designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi first created Piccolo print in 1953, and it has represented Marimekko's legacy of iconic stripes ever since. Decorated atop this Marimekko throw pillow, the playful striped pattern is painted with vivid brushstrokes in an alternating warm bronze and white colorway. The Marimekko Piccolo Throw Pillow is sewn from two pieces of fabric, which makes the pattern run in two different directions for unique contrast. Made from a cotton and linen blend, the pillow conveniently hides a discreet side zipper for easy removal of the cushion insert.
