Designer Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi first created Piccolo in 1953, and it has represented Marimekko's legacy of iconic stripes ever since. The playful striped pattern is painted with vivid brushstrokes, here atop a throw pillow in a neutral yet striking black and white colorway. The Marimekko Piccolo throw pillow is sewn from two pieces of fabric, which makes the pattern run in two different directions for unique contrast. Made from 100% cotton, the machine-washable pillow conveniently hides a discreet side zipper for easy removal of the cushion insert.
