This set is a versatile foundation that plays well with other Marimekko pieces and patterns. The mix is attractive and striking on its own, but also brings together cups and plates from different patterns well. The functionality of the Oivo dinnerware is fantastic. We should have ordered a second set - and probably will. The settings are a melange of off-kilter geometrics, pure ivory, and fat, wavering dots against an ivory ground. All mix well with other iittala and Marimekko
plates, bowls and mugs. Basically? Informal and, better, cheerful.
This is a must buy for anyone great quality and design. Really brings a lot of Marimekko fun to the kitchen table.
