Lapuan Kankurit Koivu Sauna / Bath Towel

This is the third time I ordered this Lapuan Kankurit sauna/bath towel, gorgeous design my favorite company for bath a linens.

love the Lapuan Kankurit towels, the linen softens with use, they wash beautifully, absorb really well, and look great hanging in the bathroom. Plus they give my skin great exfoliation. This birch design is nice. Well worth the price.

I love the absorption of these towels. I have dry skin I feel they give me exfoliation. My skin feels so good after drying off.
They drape well on my towel hooks, and dry quickly. This towel is bigger than the regular bath towel, nicer to use because of its size.

Beautiful design and made in Finland. We love anything made by Lapuan Kankurit. Excellent sauna towel and texture.

Purchased for my brother, he loved it, just the right texture for use after his sauna.

Naturally the design is beautiful, as one would expect from Lapuan Kankurit. A lovely surprise was the slim profile of these towels when folded. Fluffy all-cotton towels take up at least twice the space of these cotton/linen ones on the bath shelf.

depends on your preference - if you want a soft fluffy towel, this isn't it. however, my husband loves this rough-yet-very-absorbant material, appreciates the texture for exfoliation. doesn't like using it on his face though, too rough.

Great fabric, very absorbent and dries quickly, however, the towel should be about 25cm longer and wider. It does shrink in the first wash as advertised, but becomes unexpectedly skimpy afterwards. The dimensions of the towel should probably be given as they are BEFORE and AFTER the wash.

I purchased Lapuan Kankurit Koivu Towel for everyday use for myself and I love it because it is highly absorbent. It does exactly what it is supposed to do: dry you off. Of course, because it is mostly linen, it is stiff, not soft. But don't let that deter you - think exfoliation and loofa. I feel so much CLEANER after showering and drying off with the Lapuan Kankurit Koivu Towel because I don't feel like overly soft fibers are sticking to my skin or leaving fuzz behind. The 70/30 linen/cotton blend wisks away moisture and energizes the skin. And, although substantial, it is not heavy like a lot of the 'luxury' Egyptian cotton towels. Also - another MAJOR BONUS - it dries quickly! In the summertime when the humidity is high, regular cotton towels do not seem to dry completely when hung up by a single point. Those towels can remain damp and then smell dank. Yuck! The Lapuan Kankurit Koivu Towel has a substantial loop sewn on the long side for convenient hanging on a hook (nice touch!) Presumably because this towel is 70/30 linen/cotton, it dries within a few hours hung up by the loop on a hook. There is no need to hang it lengthwise to ensure that it dries. The Lapuan Kankurit Koivu Towel is a great value for a high-performing towel!

These luxurious towels are extremely absorbent and have a brisk texture, owing to their high linen content. Until about a year ago, I'd been using all-linen bath towels. I found they were a bit too abrasive for daily use, but these towels, with a 30% cotton content, have a perfect texture.

Loving these new linen towels! The manufacturer recommended a separate prewash to remove shedding fiber, with instructios to clean the washer and dryer filters, which we followed to great advantage. The towels came out of the dryer in perfect, beautiful shape, softened and absorbent. And beautiful!
