I looked at this blanket for a couple years before finding it on sale--here at this site. Then I ordered it. I live in Santa Barbara, California, in the mountains so the winter can get a little cold, especially if you only have a wood burning stove for heat. This blanket adds the extra layer needed to make a winter night more comfortable. I've purchased other Lapuan Kankurit tea towels and sauna covers in the birch tree pattern (which I made into pillows). It's a wonderful company. I found their products first on the Swedish website, Fine Little Day, and then went looking for more, which I found here.
i bought this for my daughter. She likes the color gray. This blanket is heavy-duty. She dreads winter because of the cold. She said this blanket is so warm.

I'll admit that when I first received this blanket I wondered if I had made a mistake. It was heavier and thicker than I anticipated. Thankfully I didn't return it. Our recent Minnesota winter was colder than most and very often I grabbed the blanket for an extra layer as I sat in a chair or stretched out on the sofa. In addition to being very useful it looked lovely folded over the back of our charcoal grey sofa and complimenting the two matching pillows I purchased later. Pure hygge.

This is overall a very lovely blanket. It's a nice size and weight, has a striking design, and is very warm.
