Kalevala x Marimekko Unikko Silver Earrings - Anniversary Edition

I ordered the small earrings and I'm very happy with my purchase. They are very well made and very good quality silver; not a thin layer of metal but a thicker layer and they look beautiful.

These are special. I really like how these earrings were designed as 3D partial poppies, mirror images of each other, instead of being a simple "copy" of the poppy. Switching the earrings positions offers a different look: one way shows the poppies fully frontal, while reversing the earrings shows the undulating edges of the poppy in front and the poppy's face visible in profile. They come with fasteners/backs larger than typical, but for even more comfort when wearing these substantial earrings (4g each without backs, nothing crazy), I substitute my own jumbo-sized silver earring backs that have a circular support design.

These are statement earrings. The placement is unique - the posts go into your ears almost sideways. The only con is that they are heavy. One of them stays in place all day, but the other slips and falls away from my ear. Very high quality silver that shines. Overall they are wonderful and I am happy to wear them. I also purchased the matching necklace which is equally stunning.

Wonderful earrings that look great on. Just the right size and look fab whether dressing up or down. High quality as expected from Finnstyle. Well worth the money.
