Made in Finland, this fresh pattern by Aino-Maija Metsola features a soft interpretation of flowers and fruit in bright, striking colors. The dreamy design is reminiscent of a watercolor painting with the hues melting into one another. Its large repeat makes it ideally suited for a wall hanging or curtain panel among other places in need of some creativity and color. The image shows the fabric pattern as if the cut edges were at the top and bottom; selvage with Marimekko name will appear on the sides.

I purchased Marimekko fabric(2 repeats of the cotton print "Juhannustaika") from Finn Style to be used as a tablecloth. I planned to have it laminated, and to give it as a gift to a friend, who raves about it when she sees the same fabric on my table.

The fabric I received will be more difficult to use because it was cut unevenly.
Also, I my opinion, the depiction of “one repeat” is what you should use to sell the fabric. Not the picture above which is actually one and a half repeats. I am disappointed.

I've been in love with this pattern since the first time I saw the design. I decided to buy one repeat
so I can have it stretched and framed to hang in my bedroom. The design is just a piece of art. I'm sure
there is enough selvage edge to not lose much of the impact of the complete image with its lovely colors.
This arrives with the same beautiful vibrant colors you see on line. Be away that there are white borders only on the selvage ends. If you want to stretch the fabric for a hanging, you will lose a good bit of the print. For this reason, I cannot give this a five star rating.
I love the quality of the cotton fabric. The pattern is gorgeous! I haven't had it stretched on wood frame yet but it will look awesome on our large wall. The colors and saturation are amazing. So glad I got it.
