For 70 years, the Savoy vase, designed by Finnish architect and furniture designer Alvar Aalto, has been one of the most famous pieces of glass in history. In 1936, Aalto anonymously entered his vase design for a competition at the Paris World's Fair.

I would not recommend this vase because on this size of the Aalto vase there are three seams where the vase juts out. I have different sizes in this vase and they do not have the seams and are gorgeous. Finnstyle customer service was fantastic as always however. I was able to return the vase without issues.
