This navy blue mug features The Groke looking at a night light. Moomin-founder Tove Jansson created the original illustration, which appears in the book "Moominland Midwinter." It was then interpreted by Tove Slotte, who beautifully took the classic from paper to porcelain.
As always, the Moomin mugs are crafted from porcelain and are microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe. The new mugs have special details, like an identifying stamp on the bottom and attached gift tag with a sweet story about the design.
This one reads: "The Moomins are afraid of The Groke, it doesn't like anybody, and no one really likes her, either. She shows up uninvited and rarely talks. A chilly aura surrounds The Groke and the ground freezes beneath her."
