Renzo Piano

An Italian-born architect, Renzo Piano is responsible for designing countless buildings and sculptures around the world, including Centre di Pompidou in Paris. The recipient of Compasso d’Oro, the Pritzker Prize, the Erasmus and Kyoto Awards, his resume is nothing short of impressive. A genius of the grandiose, he changed gears as a designer for iittala when he created his contemporary Piano Flatware collection. About Finnish Design

Finnish design has a long history and is know for simplicity, functionality, and craftsmanship.
