Purchased to use as a breakfast set with a coordinating mug. Pattern is interesting and looks great on the table. Quality is also great and the plate is dishwasher friendly.
LOVE THE DESIGN.
First we bought the Marimekko dinner plates 'just to see' and absolutely loved them. Then we bought the tiny, rectangular appetizer/saucers and found a ton of uses for them. Now we have the arty salad plates and already know they have a million uses. I have removed our previous 'everyday dishes' from the shelf and put these in their stead. These dishes are super strong and amply sized. The colors are neutral and the pattern is simple and pleasing. Nothing here will clash with our food. My husband was very much in favor of the change too because of their handsome good looks and super construction. So, full steam ahead--here come the cereal and dessert bowls. This dishware is super good looking, well-sized, stacks well and looks very nice on the tabletop.

This plate looks great when mixed with the dinner plate in the same line. I like the size too.
