About Helsinki Airport
Helsinki Airport, also known as Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, is the main international airport of the Helsinki metropolitan region and the Uusimaa region in Finland. It is located in the city of Vantaa, about 19 kilometers north of the Helsinki city center. The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, which are connected by a pedestrian walkway. It is the fourth busiest airport in the Nordic countries, with over 19 million passengers in 2019. It serves as a hub for Finnair, the flag carrier of Finland, and several other airlines. The airport offers flights to destinations throughout Europe, as well as to Asia and North America.
