Lotta Maija

Lotta Maija is a Helsinki-born visual and surface designer who graduated from Aalto University, and is now known for her whimsical illustrations of fruits and flowers. In 2018, she contributed several hand-painted repeating prints to Marimekko’s home and fashion collections, including Apilainen, Kasvio, Palsta, and more - and again in 2022 where she designed the delightful Suvikimppu pattern. Lotta Maija’s background in textile design and her fondness for hand-drawn, nature-inspired themes shine through in every design she brings to life for Marimekko.
