Hanna Galtat
Hanna Galtat is a visual artist and textile designer based in Finland and France. Her practice encompasses sculpture, installation, printmaking and textile design. On what is central to her in her designs, Galtat states, "Timelessness, sustainability and respect for the distinctive qualities of the materials.” Her site-specific glass work Point of View (1997) is installed in an Alvar Aalto building in Helsinki, and she has also designed textiles for the Finnish company Lapuan Kankurit.

About Finnish Design
Finnish design has a long history and is know for simplicity, functionality, and craftsmanship.
