Brita Flander
Brita Flander is a Finnish designer best known for her glass and lighting designs, as well as her comprehensive KOLO sauna collection. She was born in 1957 in Vaasa, and eventually studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. She has her own company and works with different materials, although glass is closest to her heart. Flander has designed glass for renowned companies such as Marimekko, Artek and others. She has won numerous awards during her long-standing career, and her work resides in the collections of museums worldwide.
