About Sateen:
The sateen weaving process places more threads on the surface of the fabric instead of equally woven within the fabric which results in a weave that is extremely soft to the touch. Slightly less durable than other weaving techniques, the extra soft and luxurious nature of sateen fabrics require a bit more care during washing.

I am very happy with this. Purchase. It fits beautifully. The colour is better than I first thought on. Line. I wish the duvet covers offered the pillow cases with them, as they are impossible to purchase separately and I use them on the extra pillows on the bed. I just love the Marimekko fabrics and colours. Used them since the early nineteen seventies.
Pros
Colour and fabric
Cons

Marimekko Sheet
March 26, 2012
Beautiful pattern and colors, but the sheet seems larger than most Queen sheets so has come untucked creating huge bousy, ripples.
Merchant Response:The fitted sheets are extra deep for deeper mattresses. However, the elastic should keep the sheets flat on regular mattresses.
Pros
Pattern/color choices
Cons
Seems over rated for the price. Seems to be cut larger.
